Default How many going real fast with Ported Stock heads?

I was just wondering how many people are going single digits with ported stock heads besides me?

My heads are hurt again but getting fixed. I do wish I had the thicker deck of a After market head that is for sure.

I might just have to bite the bullit and buy new pistons and finish the other set this winter

I was planning on doing it on both stages, but never hit the track.

if you wanted to you could with stock heads not even ported...but it would take some work

the thinker deck would be nice but i figured studs would be fine even with a thinnner deck...
good thing you dont have an ls1...youd be in big trouble!

I've run several 9.80s and a few 9.70s with ported LT1 castings, N/A, and a stock throttle body. The car is relatively light with a big tire.
