For my application what would everyone recommend? I have everything in my sig plus will have my LT's on in the next couple of days. I will be going down the road of heads, cam, and nitous over the winter. My goal is to get this car into the 10 seconds range.

9" all the way for 6 speeds. I've got an auto but still planning on purchasing a 9". Some of the sponsers on here have real good deals too. Check them out=======>

I would definitely go with a 9" and not have to worry about it still breaking.
EPP has a nice site that will answer a lot of questions and give good info. Check them out.

9" = can handle 900+hp and is 100 lbs or so more than 12 bolt which can only handle around 600-800hp

Since when is a 9" 100lbs more than a 12 bolt? it cant be any more than 15-20 lbs heavier, anyone have numbers?

I suspect the weight estimate is a bit overstated.
Also, it is not the horsepower ratings that kills the 12 bolt with the M6, it is the sudden shock of a 4k dump and the stickiness of the rear tires that can kill the 12 bolt. An auto does not have this sudden shock so the 12 bolt is usually fine.
I'd go nine inch, the 12 bolt is actually more optioned out. Bob
