Default Adding ground clearance with QA1s??

My car is just too low in front and I need to bring it up apox 3/4" or so. The springs are oed315-s How much do you think the spring seat needs moved up for that much change in ride height?

Also is it normal for the spring seat nut and the jam nut to be hand tight once spring tension is removed?

I think that basicly the amount you move the spring seat up is the amount the car will raise. If you want it to be 3/4in higher raise teh spring seat of 3/4in.

Sound good on paper but the reality is the knuckle and control arms are not at the same position and you are also dealing with the suspension angles. I took a wild guess and moved it apox 3/8" I will report back the results after its back down on the ground with a few miles to settle the springs.

i moved mine up, same 315 springs, 9 threads so about 1 to 1.2 in and it moved the car up about 3in so figure every 3 threads will give you 1in good luck

Move the shocks a little, and then put the car on the ground and roll it back and forth once to settle the suspension.

I'm gonna guess about 1/2 an inch on the collars to start, that will probably get you close.

Yeah what they said

I would go a Half inch at the shock. They are ACME 1/8th inch threads so four turns is a half inch at the shock. It should come out to 3/4 or so at the wheel well.

BTW there is a point where it lifts ALOT more then you think
