Default Removing scratches

I've had a few noticeable small scratches on the driver's side door for a while and now I'm noticing a few more around the vehicle with some inescapable rock chips. Is this something I could get out myself on a weekend or would it be easier to pay to get it done? How would I go about removing these if I did it myself?

FYI caution...I made a few small scratches on the hood this morning while trying to remove bird crap. I hate that stuff. It's like acid rock on your car.

Thanks,
Brian

For small scratches and swirl marks 3M products work wonders. But those rock chips I'd want to have someone touch up. Good luck!

3M is good stuff, I use that for all the noticable scratches and use Z5 zaino to cover the rest...
