Default Bought Some Cathode's

So I bought two 12" red cathode lights and a on/off switch for the interior of my car. I plan to put them where my feet are so it glows red under there and where my passenger puts their feet. My question is I don't know how to install them and what not. So if anyone that is really patient would be kind to help me out in a few days when they come in. Thanks! Or if there is a thread about how to install them already can you link me to it?

Cathodes can burn out for no good reason, and trust me the smell they make when they burn out is something you dont want to be confined in a car with when it happens.
