Default Is it safe to use ICE detailer spray over a new wax job?

I just waxed my car with meguires NXT. Looks great by the way. I was wondering if I used my ICE detailer spray before and during car shows, if that will hurt the finish any or mess up my wax job? Can anyone give me any info on this?

I just discovered this stuff wheni went the Tats,,works great. I havnt seen water spots disappear on my NBM like they did with that stuff. I think all detailers would slowly remove your wax,,if you use it alot

as a matter of fact i think when it is not super easy to wipe off is when your in need of a wax,,or soon thereafter,,,i know thats how the Meguiars quik detailer is...when that rainbow greasy smear dosn't just disappear easily when wiping it off, then its time for wax.

it won't hurt it at all to use a QD ..

correct use of a QD product is part of proper between wash maintainance.

just don't use the QD when the car is dirty .. dusty is ok .. using when dirty is asking for swirls.

also make sure you wipe off with a high quality MF towel, not some cheap mart store MF towel.

there are much better QD products to use than ICE ..

take a look at FK 425 poly slick, or Meguiar's ultimate detailer, Wolfang...they are all much better products, and the optical results from 425 can't be beat, imo.

(Finish Kare 425 poly slick)

NXT is full of silicone oil which produces the shine. After a couple washes it disapears- that is why the shine decreases. Most QD's have siliocne oil in them which produce a short term shine.

don't think so .. but I have never tried. I almost always buy my stuff online of over the phone .. much easier .. usually cheaper, and I don't have to waste time looking for it in stores ..

I will buy a lot of Meg's and 3M stuff at some of the local suppliers in town .. when I need something asap.

most of the online guys get stuff to you very quickly ..

Steve at Tropi-care has never taken longer than two days to get me an order.

The good thing about the ICE product is thet it shines plastic, specially black in color, very good. I have noticed that it attracts tons of dust. To me the best is the Meguiars QD.
