Default Starting prob

Tried to start car and all I hear is the clicking sound. Just changed out my fuel pump and when I try to start I could hear it prime and interior lights and gauges work. I tried to jump it so I could check the alternator but it still wouldnt start. Any ideas?

Well changed out the battery and it started right now. Tested the alternator and it was working as well. Now just gotta deal with a rough idle.

Well, a correct jump would've done the same as if you dropped in a new battery. Or even better, since you can draw more from the other vehicle. Very well could've been the bat, but I still think the starter is the culprit. If it happens again and you have a dead battery, you'll know.

if it happens again try checking the battery terminals if they are bad it can cause that to happen.
