looking for the width of a 4th gen dash....please?

Need a 55" dash or therabouts for a GM a-body.

theres a thread going right now about swapping a 4th gen dash into a 1st gen f-bod and i remember someone mentioning somethin about a-body too (i think..)

Appreciate it. Still like to know before I head down there.

Called a friend who works in a yard (his father in law owns it)

He has 98, I can get up there on Saturday to measure it.

Was hoping maybe he had a vette and an escalade too, but he does not.

The dash out of my '95 'bird is exactly 55 inches.

Yeah, I measured it and did a double take. I thought to myself, "wow, that's the exact number is posted". Then I measured it again just to make sure I wasn't seeing things.
