Pontiac G8 2008-2010 - Sweet 2-door G8 photoshop

Buddy linked me to this since he'll probably be getting a G8,m so he keeps up on everything.

Anyways, figured I"d share.

Pretty sharp....the roofline is a little too Nissan 300Z for me though.

Looks nice but a little too much like a Mercedes to me. I like the 4 door look myself.

From this angle, it's a cross between an Infiniti G35 and an Aston Martin....

haha Yea Kerry. I wouldn't doubt, noticing the stance, if it was a modified DB7 with G8 panels. (In Photoshop of course). The front window looks like an exact match.

If they make a G8 coupe like that it'd definitely be more along the lines of BMW like than the cars they have been producing. Why not call it a GTO? With it being Pontiac, if they produce a G8 coupe will be called just that a G8 Coupe. Or they could call it a G8 LeMans or something.

G8 coupe sounds fine. If they bring back the GTO moniker again, they need to mean business this time.

Looking like a Mercedes or Aston certainly isn't a bad thing in my book... those wheels are horrid though. :)

I would have to debate that vs. the new Maro...just depends which one weighs less to me. I really like that!!!

I like it, especially if it does look like an Aston Martin!! I love the Aston, so if the G8 can look like it at 1/4 of the price (wishful thinking?) that would be great!

I agree, a lot of cars look like other cars, there isn't much you can do about it. This looks damn good and I'd buy it.

The photoshop G8 coupe looks damn good. A bit similar to an aston, but I'm not complaining. Speaks power and prestige together if you ask me

Decisions, decisions...regardless, if Pontiac made that, I'd might consider buying it over the new Camaro.

I think it should be called a G8 Coupe. I think Pointiac should stick with the GX names. I think they are trying to make Pontiac be a Pontiac and sticking with GX names will do that. Like when you see the cars you know that that is a Pontiac.

While it doesn't exactly resemble one, I instantly though "Pontiac G6 coupe" and then thought:
"Crap, GM won't make a G8 coupe, it would compete with the G6 Coupe"

Just like there wasn't a Grand Prix coupe from 04-08 models, (though some speculate that the Prix coupe was dropped so it wouldn't compete with the new GTO introduced in 04...

Seriously, I suppose its cool that the G6 is from "G"rand Am "6"th gen, and G8 for "G"rand Prix "8"th gen, but Pontiac was better off with names that didn't all differ by a single letter.

BTW, they did a shitty job replacing the sunfire, I've seen like 4 G5's so far
