Default LS1 in my 96 / LT1 Gauges on LS1 Engine??? Adapter??

Alright, putting a 99 LS1 in my 96 camaro, now I heard that everything will work except for the Tachometer, in which you have to use an adapter for but I cannot find this adapter, what must I do to get the tach on my LT1 Guages to work with this LS1 engine?

I don`t think you need an adapter box, you just need to reset the output in the PCM. It can be reset with HPTuners and EFILive, you need to reset the low and high resolution to 6 instead of 3.
