Default Purchasingg Street Radials w/ 2.73s?

OK i dont have enough money for gears yet, and even though i barely burnout when i just punch it from the stop w 273s, i was wondering if i still would see any gain with SR while actually launcing from 1800 rpms? Then i wouldnt spin tht much, only time i spin a lot is when i actually launch my car. Think it owuld be wise to do first? Also can anyone send a link of street radials tht fit the stock chrome 16'' z28 wheels? Cuz thts wut i have in back, and their ok for now to keep. thanks

M/T Drag Radials on stock size rims here. 255 fits great and it hooks very well on the street even with my stall and cam. But I also have the 2.73s

A little tire spin on the 2.73 gear cars helps bring the engine into its powerband quicker so it doesn't chug through the low rpms. I ran the best times stock stall and 2.73's with street tires with no burnout.. just a quick test launch, then stage the car. On the launch the tires would just screech through the first 30 feet with 1.9 60' times. My 60's upped to 2.1 when I put MT Drag radials on the car. It would just slowly leave and work its way into the power and felt like a complete dog.
