Power and sound mainly are mainly aimed towards the true duals. H pipe will be loudest of the 2. Bullets will help make it deeper.

the TD will outflow the catback any day.

whether you need that much flow depends on mods you currently have or plan to get.

but for the cost (relatively cheap) and the sound/power gains....TDs are the way to go.

i thought TDs were the way to go and i ended up getting a Lanes true dual setup from a buddy. Now there is NO DOUBT that the duals were the best sounding exhaust setup and the best flowing out of any other exhaust. It sounded NASTY!!! BUT........i drive my car everyday, it is my only vehicle. And the truth is if its your only vehicle and you drive it as much as i do everyday the loudness of the duals will get annoying. Of course it is badass when you are getting on it or throwing a rev at a fellow f-body. But it was just to much for me in my daily driver. I have had the cops called on me several times by my neighbors. And i dont drive like an idiot, dont rev it up in the neighborhood, dont let it warm up, dont come in or leave all hours of the night. But they still felt the need to bitch. I am now taking off my duals and going with a magnaflow catback.

One other reason i am getting rid of the duals is ground clearance. Good luck lowering your car with them on. My car is still at stock ride height and if i have someone in the passenger seat i can't make it through town without bottoming out ATLEAST once!

hum i have true duals with a prokit and only hit my duals if i go over a speedbump without slowing down etc. I have to creep up to them and go over slowly and sometimes will rub them gently depending how bad of a speed bump it is. Otherwise dont have any issues

Same here...I have the ProKit and 3" duals dumped and I don't bottom out barely ever. It's all about the tuck.

duals for for sure are a good call . as far as sound you can add a variety of mufflers depending on your budget .

you get best gains from duals with headers, but they can be made to fit manifolds, do you plan on keeping cats or getting hi-flos? that will make a difference
