http://performanceworks1.com/headlightmod.htm. It's an alternative to the factory junk that we LT1 Camaro guys have to live with. I think it could also be adapted for use with true hid's

along time ago there was a site you could get sealed beam conversions for your car dont know if they are still around though (last i tried to access there site it was down and had since heard they went out)
i payed 50 bucks for high and low beam housings for both sides on my bird and coverted to an h7 style mount which i have since adapted true hid's in it (no projector you can hate all you want)

I did that and it didn't really help. All it does is make the light alittle whiter, it didn't really give me any extra light, or allow me to see an farther.

I plan on replacing my lights with hella ff75s as they are the best looking best performing alternative.

auto optiks is the company. I spent 180 bucks on the conversions for my 97 SS. 4 enclosures, and 6 bulbs. i had the money to waste back then so i didnt care about the cost.

Are they still in business, How do I contact them? I'll have to be satisfied with what I got for now but I would like HID's in the future.

Yeah, us sealed beam guys don't have many options. It's a shame when any company that makes something like this goes out b/c then the companies that are still in business can hike up the price.
