Default Need Tires for my Skinnies

Does anyone know where I can pick up some 165 radials for my 3.5" Welds in the Orlando area? I would even take some used ones if they were in decent shape. I have Moroso DS-2's now, but I want to drive on the street.

I having a hard time in Jax locating some 165r15 radials as well. I will probably end up with some MT Sportsmans.... PM "TWISTED-LS1" I believe he knows a couple of places in O-town that have the radials.

Tell me about it, I've been calling and doing internet searches for two days now without any luck. I found a coupe of places that would order them, but they were both a little sketchy on delivery times.

If I don't find the 165's before this weekend, I'll probably just go with the Sportsmans to.

Thanks for the tip. I'll shoot a pm over to TWISTED-LS1.

Not anymore. They are special order only and I wanted them before this weekend. If I have to wait, I'll just order the M/T Sportsmans.

Tire Rack's website shows them on back order. I might try giving them a call tomorrow.

Kumho 165/15 is a very good tire, they drive very good on the street and are a quality tire for going up to 120 maybe 130mph on a dragstrip. The MT Sportsmans and Moroso tires pull the car all over the road from pot holes and road grade(too much traction in the front) on the street and wear out very fast but for going fast on the dragstrip over 130mph you need the stability and traction of the MT/ Moroso tires.

Sounds like the Kumho is the tire that I need. It's too bad they don't seem to be available. I called Tire Rack this morning and heard the same thing that everyone else told me, they are on back order from the factory with no expected ship date.
