Question Anyone mounted a 200 4R to a LS1

Hi

I have bought a 200 4R from CPT ( Art Carr ) and planning on mounting it to mine LS1, anyone know how to do with the TV Cabel?

If there is anyone that have done this, it would be great to hear how you mounted it.

The only place that I know of who makes a bolt on TV cable solution is Bow Tie Overdrives.

You could also make a bracket to connect the TV cable directly to the gas pedal, but be aware that the adjustment is very critical. Not only does the cable need to be pulled a certain distance at wide open throttle, but it also needs to be pulled certain distances at certain percentages of throttle opening. It would not be that difficult to make, you just have to plan it first. There should be dimensions online if you google it for how much the cable needs to be pulled at how may % throttle.

The kit from Bowtie Overdrives will only bolt on to a 98 style throttle body. I bought the kit and it won't fit later model throttle body arms. If you use a throttle body made by Professional Products, you can use the Bowtie kit because the throttle body will come with both styles of plates. I am going to get a carb from an original 200-4R equipped car figure out a way to hook my throttle valve cable to the plate on my 90MM throttle body. With the correct carb, I can come up with the measurements that G-Body talked about.

I got a little more info on the kit from Bowtie Overdrives. It will also NOT fit if you have a 90MM intake. The TV cable bracket won't bolt down correctly. It hits the manifold runners and needs some serious rework. I have mine almost finished and will take some pic's of it Sunday afternoon. Can't work on it tomorrow as I am going to Memphis to the races.

If you run a stock intake and a 1998 throttle body, you can use the kit from Bowtie Overdrives. Professional Products also includes the correct throttle body plate with their 85MM throttle body.
