Default Procharged Small Block?? Anyone

So I built a 392hp 430lb/ft 360ci small block this year and I love it! and I wanna give it some more kick, you can never have enough. Anyone know anything about a psc1 kit for carbed cars? Ive read the catalog but i wanna hear it from someone who's done it already. Any tips or needs

i've never done it but with a blow through carb like the ones speed demon make for a blow through setup should work great.what is your compression ? it may not be happy on 93 if your compression is to much.

I'm running a p1sc carbed setup on a mild 9.1 :1 CR sbc and I love it. Currently running 8lbs boost but I'm fabbing up a FMIC currently to raise the boost to the 12-14lb range and get even more power. The install is really easy and quick and the newfound power is a blast. Check out turbomustangs.com for the basics on a blow through carb setup.

What's your CR? forged pistons? cam? fueling system? The answers to these questions will help us steer you in the right direction.

I forgot to mention the only problem I've had thus far. Be preparred to buy new tires at twice the rate you previously did, when the boost comes on the traction goes away on radials on the street.

should work good if you keep the boost & timing down--an intercooler would also help with that compression.

From my experiance blow through cars don't really need an IC, the fuel in the intake tract cools the incoming air plenty.

x2 on Bob at EPP.

Get the biggest (flow wise) blower you can afford. My recomendation would be at minimum a D1sc. F1 if the budget alows it. The more flow the blower produces the less hard you'll have to push it to get the power you want.

Make sure you take into account the ugraded fueling system you'll need. High volume pump at low working pressures is critical, as is a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator. Are you running the stock fuel tank?

Make certain that your return line to the tank is bigger than the feed line (8AN feed 10AN return seems to work well up to 1000hp, otherwise you'll have fuel pressure issues, get a quality carb hat too (extreme velocity, imo) and check out turbomustangs.com for the blow through carb basic modifications( drilling pvcr, fuel vent extensions, etc.) Ohterwise you seem good to go. That cam should work pretty well too. I see 10lbs of boost and 500whp in your future.
