psi for leak down test ?

Default psi for leak down test ?

did a leak down test on a used motor I got, used 90 psi, is that enough for a leak test ?....reason i ask is the results were 2-3% on all cylinders, this motor is clean but i cant see it being in that good of shape...thanx......

90 psi is plenty, you have a healthy motor.

so far then, will do compression test next..fwiw test was done on an engine stand, cold obviously.....thanx for the reply
