Default advice about cam, mod

i got a '00 with 120000miles in the odometer, with just a lid and a slp air induction tube right now.

i'm planing on doing pacesetters lt's, tsp duals with dynomax mufflers and a new cam, no cats . all this at once
i don't want heads cause i don't have the money or the time to go that far

somebody can recommend a good, safe cam combo for my setup? .. city driven more often so i think a 0-3500rpm power will be o0k

I dont think ANY aftermarket cam for that many miles will be considered all that "safe" but to each their own. For a god cam that stays in the stock powerband, look at the Thunder Racing "old man" cam.

go for it dude. 120k miles you will be fine, your vlave trane needs an upgrade and this is the perfect time. we have a guy in our local group running a 98 Z/28 w/ 170xxx miles w/ heads cam and nitrous and no forged parts. As far as cam selection goes, that all depends on if you have a auto or 6 speed. The texas-speed 228R cam is a good overall cam and makes good power and is driveable on a daily basis, as is the thunderracing TR224. You must have a good tuner near by or all that work will be for nothing. Good luck.

with a '00 model, and the 224, maybe 380's, 228 you're looking at almost 400. Just remember, oil pump, pushrods, springs, valve seals, and anything else you wanna update while you're at it.

oh yes, especially if it's on xe-r lobes, which i believe the TSP one is. Also, since M6 and wanting power, then i would recommend a torquer 2 or a 230 cam. They will make awesome power and stay very driveable with a good tune

120k's fine, It all depends on what you consider driveable. 224/224 seems like a favorite around here for a daily driver.
