how to take out coolant sensor?

Default how to take out coolant sensor?

do u have to take out the battery? does it twist out or just pull out or what. I already unplugged it from the wire just dont know how to get the sensor out

Yes, take the battery out. There should be a metal clip holding the sensor in the radiator, pull the clip off and the sensor should pull right out, you might have to twist/wiggle some. Don't forget to drain the radiator.

not neccesary to remove the battery on my 98. just remove the clip and pull it out.
