Default Direction of Torsen Thrust Block/Paddle on 99 Z-28?

Does it matter which way you put the thrust block (Paddle) in a Zexel Torsen rear?

I have heard it does not matter.

99 Z

Thanks for the input, I also called the tech line at Torsen today and he stated the same and said it is only used to insert a feeler gauge to check the clearance on installation in the factory.

Have a good one!

i changed my gears today.sooooooo i toke note mentally on how stuff comes apart just for this thread. the grooves in the flat ends of the block seem to go up to down with the lock pin looking at you.flip it around and they go down to up.im not sure if this is a oil flow channel to the torsen gears???
