Default Hooker catback, Pacesetter LTs w/ORY, Torquer 2 vid

I like it alot more than the Loudmouth that was on it, but i do miss the LM at idle. Any other time this exhaust ***** all over the LM. I cant hear it at all on the freeway which is a HUGE plus, the LM droned like a bastard! No annoying raspy beligerant **** around 2200 rpm anymore either. $300 very well spent.

Sounds good. Do you get any rasp when taking off and coming up to speed fairly quick but not wot? I have pacesetters/ory/magnaflow with cam/heads and I'm not too happy with it. I added a slp LM muffler in the I pipe and it still sounds raspy.

i have the same catback, i love the sound with LT's + ORY ... good on the highway like you said, screams at WOT. if you miss the idle you can always put a cutout in the I for when your just cruising around. thats the route i went. wouldn't change ne thing on it. cept for maybe true duals

Thanks guys

The passenger side tail is tight, but the only thing supporting it is the round bar going through that rubber piece that just hangs from more roundbar, so theres nothing to keep the tailpipe sturdy. Ill have to look into it more, but as of right now im not too worried about it wobblin around

BTW, i had a Hooker on my 97 z with LTs and ORY and i hated it. WAY too quiet on there, and i did end up havin a cutout put on that car. I love it on this car.

Oh, and i cant hear any rasp

Sounds killer. I cant decide to go with the Tourqer 2 or the 228R. Is the car tuned yet? Hows the drivability etc?

The car is tuned and drives great. Very happy with my cam selection as i feel it was right in the middle of small and big. The only thing i would swap it out for would be a reverse split, and thats just because of curiosity

When i ran my LM and LTs i didnt mind it at all. It was raspy and LOUD but i didnt think i would ever get tired of it either. Then i put the cam in and LOVED it...that lasted about 2 months Screw rasp and drone!
