Well you're going to have to do it based on how you remember them running. You're going to have to have the cluster plugged in first but without the glass. (This way you could check where the needles are going to.) Turn your key to the accessory position and place your needles where they're supposed to be prior to startup.

no there is no way. i did the same thing u did. like emj2006 said above, turn the car and let it idle for a couple of mins. make sure ur gas tank is full, so that u can put the needle on F. for the battery, oil pressure, and put it where u remember it being. for the rpms, put it on what it would normally idle under during normal running conditions. if u dont remember, then start a thread asking ppl with the same specs as ur car what their rpms are at normal running condition. as for the speedometer, put it at 0 since ur car isnt moving. remember do this all, when the car is turned on and running. and dont push down to hard on the needles or they wont work. hope that helps.

Sorry to revive old thread but I am having the same problem! Installed aftermarket overlay and cannot get the needles back to where I had them.

If I turn the car on and try and move the needles to their original position, they just bounce back to where they are in the picture...please help!

You must not fully press them on before adjusting the needles.. Just lightly put them in a general position then adjust with small movements before pushing then on fully. I recommend using an OBD2 adapter and application for mobile phones that displays ECU data to set the needles at correct spots. I use TorquePro and an eBay OBD2 adapter. Also you may need to adjust the speedometer while driving. I got the car up to 60mph based on the torquepro app and adjusted the needle before fully pushing it on. Same with rpms. I revved up to around 3000 rpms and adjusted. The fuel tank needs to be full. All the other parameters should be shown on the mobile app

Google search for mcnord gauge overlays or email them. Mines a custom job.

Yeah but it was MUCH easier to just remove them and stick it on then trying to maneuver around the needles and risk damaging them... Im not a fan of them im probably going to just take them off and try and get some of my money back. Any idea when they'll be back up on the site 6LITEREATER? Was going to order some white ones off a website called macewenmotorsports but I ordered and payed a white shifter overlay 2 weeks ago and no one will return my emails or get back to me still havent received it yet! Guess ill just wait until you have em back up on your site. Thanks again everyone!
