help! missed a gear and now i hear a tick?

Default help! missed a gear and now i hear a tick?

well i was out racing my car and i went from 3rd and missed 4th but went right into 2nd and it hit the limiter. now when the car idles i hear a tick. its on the driverside of the engine and definatly sound like a valve tran noise. its pace quickents with the increase of rpms. bent pushrod? sunk lifter? the car is an 99 camro ss with 88k on it any input on it would be alot of help its my daily driver please help

bent pushrod as everybody else would say u machanically forced a downshift, time to take that sucka apart

i changed them out for a set of comp's pretty easy took me 2 hours. 3 of the were bent bad like 30 degres. but its al better now
