Question Brakes Are Squeaking

All 4 cross/drilled/slotted rotors on my car are only about a year old.
I have Hawk brake pads as well that are a year old also. The calipers are stock and have never been replaced.
This past week when I step on the brakes Im hearing a slight squeaky noise. It sounds like it may be coming from the front. Before I do anything and spend any money where do you think this squeak is coming from?
I could either take it to the dealership or take it to my performance shop.
Thx,
D

hey how ya been Zoe? i have eradispeeds and hawk hps. take the brake pads off and use alot of disc cleaner on the rotors and a clean rag. that'll cure you up, if not check how much brake pads you got left.

pads should last for a long while. If they are metallic or semi-metallic then they are going to squeal from time to time and even most of the time. Keep them clean will be your best friend.

I ordered the pads myself. I know Hawk is a good brand but Im not sure if they are semi-metalic or not.
I think you guys may be right though, Im going to see how much Goodyear is going to cost. Thats where I bought my tires from.
Then Im gonna see how much my performance shop will charge to check the pads and clean them.

Hey, whats up Adam?

hey Zoe, good luck with getting those brakes to stop making noise. When are you going to post a sound or video of your exhaust setup?

The brakes are squeaking even more today.
The first thing Im gonna do Mon. morning is take it down the street to goodyear. I know the manager there because thats where I get my tire pressure checked every month, I bought my tires there as well.
I dont want to take it this weekend, there gonna be too busy and Ill spend my entire Sat. waiting.
Id rather take my car in on a day that I have to work.

Hey, look at that Im up to 100 posts.
