Default GN powertrain into 88 chevy s10?

I have the option to pickup a complete GN engine/trans/turbo drop out for a decent price. Will all the hotside fit in the 88 s10 chassis?> Room for the DP and crossover pipes? The intercooler mounting and pipe routing will be a challenge in itself, but i can deal with that. Anyone have pics of this swap completed? let me know, thanks.

Yes it can and has been done. GM built a concept using the GNX engine before the syclone/typhoon phase. I have a complete GN setup, but its for a 85 non-intercooled. Its all for sale. Engine, trans, wiring and fresh rebuilt turbo.

This conversion is not very common. It's a lot of work to put it in an S platform.

I've owned 2 Turbo Regals. If you get the swap done it will be beyond "badass". How much does that S-10 weigh? I would think its pretty light. That thing will be wicked. You'll hurt some peoples feelings with it if you get it set up right. Good luck and keep us posted as it comes along. Espcially with pics.
