Default is my fuel pump going out...??

when i go to remove the gas cap to get gas it sounds like im letting air out of a tire or even like im slowly opening a 2liter of pop...i always get gas before im down to a quarter tank and im always running 92+ and this is still the stock pump...what do u think is causing this?

My 93 LT1 would do that everytime I had to fill her up. I think it has something to do with way LT1 fuel system is engineered because my LS1 never does that even when it's bone dry.
