Default Computer Tuning

Does those hand held tuners like hypertech, superchips, etc. work as well as having some one tune it at like speed shops and such.

No where near as good as a shop/dyno/mail order.

No. Get a real tune. The handheld stuff is mostly a waste of money.

Whats a avg. price range of a tune so i know i want be getting ripped off?

go buy it yourself and do a lot of research. that way you will always have the items to scan your car for codes and tune it for new mods later on. its not that hard unless you get some fueling issues, then you just ask for help and most of the time will get it.

aldl cables.com <-------get rid of the space

there is where you can get the cable to connect a laptop to the pcm.
freescan
datamaster and tunercat are logging/tuning programs
