Default Radiator drain ****?

How am I suppose to go about opening a radiator drain **** on a 97' Firebird?

I think I found it, but it's not loosening...

Does it look similar to this: http://shbox.com/1/drain_valve.jpg Just unscrew it counterclockwise by hand if you can, or gently use plyers - don't want to break it.

Pliers......

I'd recommend just taking the petcock completely out so it'll drain faster. Otherwise, it'll take what seems like FOREVER to drain through that little hole.

Yep, that's exactly what mine looks like...I guess I'll try using pliers on it. Thanks for the help

do what y2k said...take it off completely, and make sure your radiator cap is off..it will come out alot quicker that way
