WHere is the best place to buy either one and how much am I looking at to get set up. The closest tuner for me is 7 hours away so I decided to do this myself. What kind of laptop , how much memory do I need? And of course I should probably have a wideband to eh?

You dont want LS1 edit. Trust me I used to use it.
I would use EFI live or HP tuners.
BTW I have EFI live and love it.

If you go with hp tuners I hope you don't mind waiting. I ordered mine 2 weeks ago and it still has not been shipped.

I have ls1 edit i decided to go another route. I really don't have enough mods to get that deep into tuning right now. let me know if your interested. It gets the job done though just not the best tuning program out there. Pm me if your interested i will let it go pretty cheap.everything you need included its for a 99-00 ls1 cars, but you can send back to get it for your vehicle if needed.
