What will break next?
94 Z28
A4
3,000 stall
built tranny
bolt-ons
Do yall think a U-joint, axles, gears, or other will break next?
Should I go with Forged Axles and Sticky Tires like MT ET Street's or just run street tires?
I do have an extra set of wheels and tires and this is a daily driver

All axles are forged, you got 28 splines stock or aftermarket if you're still using the 7.5/7.625. Theres no information to go by, so just guessing. If you put in cheap u-joints thats my guess at first. Hope your A4 was built right.
if you're at 13 flat in the 1/4 I'd say nothing will break if it was all assembled right.

I guess my junk wasn't assembled right. I have gone through 2 4L60E transmissions and 2 10 bolt rear ends. Car has run a best of 13.4 at 104.
Got tired of breaking stuff (well breaking stuff is cool, replacing the parts sucks) I put in a Rossler TH400 RMVB with transbrake, Coan 4K stall, Dennys Nitrous ready DS, Strange 12 bolt with 4.10s and a spool.
Overkill? perhaps but I can drive the car the way I want and not worry about blowing drivetrain parts out the back of the car.
If my expierence holds true you will break the transmission first and if you ever get a 60E to hold up you will break the rear end next.
Keep it on street tires and you probably won't hurt anything. But what fun is that?

Yea it's hard to say. I was running 13.2 all night at the test and tunes when my car was stock with an A4 and 3.23's. It hooked up good with the stock tires. Got bored just putting it to the floor and running the same ET every run.
A guy I work with has some mods, a stock A4 and 3.42's, he runs 12.8-12.7 all night.
The original poster here says he has a built A4, when I built mine the old reaction shell looked kinda beat up, when I changed me rear gears at 35,xxx miles one of the carrier bearings had some bad pitting, it never made any noise but if it would have started wearing down it would have opened up the backlash making it more prone to breaking the ring and pinion.
