Has anyone macined down the snout or whatever is neccessary to use it with the stock LS1 (vette) harmonic balancer) and wet sump oil pump? What's the most hp these cranks have put out?

imo it would be a waste of time to go to that trouble-i would think that a eagle crank would be cheaper then the original gm ls7 factory crank-

i have a gut feeling that the GM ls7 crank is of higher quality and precision than the eagle crank.
I have done several, you need LS2 front cover and a machined adapter/pulley.
Works fine if you are using stock rotating assy, otherwise tough to balance.
