Default M6 or A4

I keep hearing about the M6 & A4's I don't know what mine is or what the differance is I have a 98 Z-28 LS1 anybody got any ideas? Thanks

M6 means manual 6 speed, and A4 means automatic 4 speed

Another question. What is the button behind the shifter on the LS1 TA's?

Are you talking about the TCS (traction control) Button? or is it a Vert (convertible)? Because then it's the button to lower the top.
