Default Detailed the car over the weekend *PICS*

I spent some time this weekend giving the car some TLC. I washed, clayed, re-waxed her, and also polished the wheels and headlights.

Here's what I started with, notice the dull finish, nasty wheels and headlights:

Here's what she looked like after a good wash. Still not as good as she can look.

After the clay, here the car looks as good as it did with the old Meguiar's cleaner wax on it, and ALL THE WAX IS STRIPPED OFF!

Here's how disgusting the wheels were. Original on the left, polished on the right. I will NEVER use wheel cleaner again.

The total package, right before we went cruising. Note the headlights look a lot better, and the wheels are bling-tastic! Nothing like fresh-polished wheels.

Here are some dusk shots to show how nice and deep the paint looks now compared to how it did.

Anyhow, tell me what you guys think. All told, this was about eight hours of detailing spread over two days, and was a hell of a lot of work. Was the end result worth it?

Mother's Aluminum and Billet Polish. Comes in a little red can. You have to supply your own elbow grease though. Ele-Blue95 and myself polished 4 wheels in three hours. They're still not perfect, but they're A LOT better!
