Let's just say mildly modified 98 Cobra.. Supercharged..

What should it be expected to put down in the 1/4?

Probably mid 12's?

Could be a low 11 second car and it could be a high 12 second car. Depends on how smart the owner is. Id say mid 12's is a common average.

Maybe a striped down hatch built right against a supercharged 98 gt.....but I can't see a supercharged cobra losing....but then again you never know

Mild boost with average driver should be 12.2ish around 116-118 and a soft 60ft. Now if they leave hard and shift hard then it could be sub 11.50's.

Mine went 11.77@122 with an S-Trim, 4:10's and LT's. Had 18" Saleens in front and 28X9 ET Drags on welds out back. 60ft was only 1.7

Sure, there are tons of extremely fast Civic's out there, to even make a Civic run with an S/C Cobra it's gonna take more than stripped interior and 176whp..

I had ls/vtec b16 head pnp with gsr cams, with b16 pistons, b16 tranny, i/h/e, 62psi fuel, p72 ecu in my civic coupe and on the dyno put down 203 WHP, ran very high 13's at the track. The only downside was had to run 93 octane plus booster to keep it from pinging (11.3:1 CR)

Not sure what all that means.. :)

only 11.3 CR and he had to run 93 plus booster??..sounds like his tune sucks ass and needs some work. I would ask what booster he used, but I know the answer.........AutoZone home label. off the shelf boosters aren't all that great from what I have found out.

Yeah but I think the way the Honda guys see it, they came from 15's (or possibly higher) so that's a 2 second improvement. Big stuff to them I guess... so a Honda in the 10's is basically God in a Honda form to them where in the domestic world you just get a nice pat on the back.

Gutted and k20....low 13's right there. Although k20's aren't to cheap...alot less work involved then that b16.

supercharged can be anything. what type, what size, what boost? running great? boost leak? hot day? intercooled? heatsoaked? bad clutch? bald tires? false starts? blah, blah, blah. anything can happen on the streets. how many times did the civic beat him?
