Aright Im wanting to get some weight off the front of my car to get it into the 9s.What hood do you guys like?
#1 stock looking but fiberglass and lightest weight

What's the difference from pin on and bolt on? Pin on it snaps on/off? sorry for ignorance

bolt on uses factory type struts, a pin on hood uses either hood pins or 1/4 turn fasteners to secure the hood. Pin on for all out racecars, bolt on for pretty much everyone else, except for ricers...its a federal law that they must use chrome hood pins.


and my vote is for a Sunoco w/o body line also, but my 2nd choice would be an Ultra Z hood, for some reason it looks wicked on silver/pewter cars.

its probably going to be unanimous, but Sunoco hood for the win! and if not that, then the VFN 2 inch cowl.

sunoco unless it were a factory SS, then i'd say 3" SS....but i'm a purist like that

i would say you cant go wrong with either the sunoco (w/o the line) or the 3" SS. more people have the sunoco though, so go with the 3" SS hood. it also looks better on silver cars.

I vote for #1 with the #2 being a close second. Your car looks good with the stock hood.
