315's with about an 1.5" drop. it's more like long gashes and its where the tread transitions into the sidewall.

i have the same problem, 1.5 in drop and 315's, it takes long shavings off of the outside of the tire when it rubs, i took the handle of a floor jack and used it to role it as much as i could but it still rubs when i take corners and bumps.

you dont hit the inside of the fender with anything you will **** it up you get some one to get in the car and go forward and in reverse as you place the bat on the tire and roll it in your hands as the car moves don't forget to apply some downward pressure on the bat as it rolls this will roll the inner lip flush and even with out messing up the fender. i'll help you out if you want.

yup thats exactly what you do. I had to do this on my old 98' sierra with a 4' 6' drop on 20's. Works great! It may rub a tad after ward on big bumps but surely it won't take chunks outta your tires.
