Default mufflex bump stop

i just installed my pacesetter headers and ory and the pipe hits on the driver side so i bought the mufflex bump stop and i just dont know where to put it i was curious if some one could take a picture of theres and show me where to put it.

I am not sure where it bolts to either but doesn't it use an existing hole?

it goes where the heat shield bolts are, it slides under it i believe i cant remember its been so damn long. not hard to find basically right under the drivers seat.

I ended up drilling a hole in the crossmember and screwing it into that. I had no problems.

I was actually just reading over an old GMHTP mag and they had Mufflex installing one of their bump stops. It looks like it was right under the driver seat like stated above.

mine came with instructions...was supposed to go on the heat shield bolt (10mm) but my O2 sensor was in the way. had it welded to subframe further towards i pipe connection and it works great.

I didn't have the original y-pipe bracket that slid into the tranny bracket. But I took the mufflex bracket and bent it straight, drilled another hole into it and bolted it down to the tunnel brace. Just have to drill it about where the bend was and turn it just right for the clamp on the y-pipe, but it completely stopped every bump and rattle I had The y-pipe was hitting on the tunnel brace, but here is a picture of mine. I got new headers and y though so this old setup is toast sorry the pictures aren't the best for the bump stop but it's all I had.
