Default new rear

Is it true that a 12 bolt is better for a auto tranny and a 9" for a man tranny? If so who produces the strongest 12 bolt?

The 12 bolt is weaker than the nine inch, and an automatic is not as hard on the rear as a stick shift is. A Moser 12 bolt and a Moser 9 inch are practically the same price, and most people these days order the nine inch rear. The Moser 9 inch will be able to handle all of the future upgrades you throw at your car, and it is designed to bolt right into your car. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com....html?item=145
