Default Testing our GTO Gen-TTR Intercooled Twin Turbo System

To give you some idea of the sort of durability testing we have done with the GTDW series turbochargers as found on our Gen-TTR Intercooled Twin Turbo system we sponsored the GT Autosound LS2 Stroker (6.6 L) with a pair for the Drift Australia series. What these guys do is punishing to say the least!

Running in a harsh and high temperature environment wear rates are accelerated beyond normal road/track use by a magnitude (we reckon) of around 10X - 15X. Getting through a season untouched when used in these conditions is excellent and around a conventional OE limit. So far we are halfway there with no issues and wear within expected specification (less than 0.2%). Heres what these animals do to a pair of harmless turbos...(from QR last month)

By the way thats on 275/18 Toyo R888 semi slicks, and all the infield sections you see on the video are roll on in fourth gear, note there is zero shifting of the box like you get with little engines

Its a custom piece locally made to fit in the front of a Skyline...and unfortunately it doesnt work very well (the car has to run a second radiator in the trunk)

TTR kit will make a good solid 750rwhp on a GTO under the right conditions without exceeding 15psi of boost
We aim more for the torque numbers though, and as you will find if you study some of the results there arent too many TT kits that make the ftlb readings at the same power levels we do

If you own an R34 Nissan Skyline with a twin GenTT twin turbo LS2....then I think some cutting might be required, as with any major conversion.

If however you own a car that they make a bespoke kit for....no cutting like that should be required !, like the Monaro's/GTO's, F-Body's etc

Yep if you have a Skyline and want to fit a GTO kit you have to hack the thing half to death

So not only do you get good ol LSX power, you get to hack up a ricer in the process. Must be the ULTIMATE kit
