Default New Product: GT45F and GT45FX Non-ball bearing now available

The GT45F NON-DBB is now avialable. The unit is built on the GT42 chassis like the current GT45. Its available in both T4 and T6 housings. The turbine wheel is an 11 blade LDP (Low Drive Pressure) design instead of the current 12 blade turbine. Its an 87mm, so its a very nice upgrade for the GT42 owners that have the current 82mm turbine wheel that are choking up top. The compressor wheels available are, 70mm billet, 74,76mm, and 78mm. The new LDP turbine coupled with the 78mm compressor wheel will yield an output of 111lbs/min.

Units start at $1699 for GT45F

Only option is stealth Race cover, which is the GT45FX. Cover is a .96A/R comp cover and is good for additional 75-100hp gains. Also cover is ported shroud without re-flow slot so is legal for some classes not allowing re-flow covers.

Cover option is $199

We have one unit that was built this weekend and final dyno #'s as of this morning are 991rwhp/888rwtq on a 306ci R-block windsor running through a 6spd cobra tranny @23psi. This was the GT45F-78. The X cover was not ready in time. Track times this weekend hopefully if the customer can get a few fuel issues worked out. Stay tuned.....

They are great #'s but the real #'s will be at the track.

The GT45F-78 is 1200, with the FX compressor cover its (1275hp).

The the smallest model is the 70mm billet, and its rated 975hp and (1050 w/FX comp cover), which is a good deal more then the GT42-70 which is 850hp.

The GT45FX is only $149.99 more then the standard GT45F. It comes with the race cover and adds around 75-100hp above the standard cover.

Yes we do ship worldwide.....

How does a GT45F-78 compare to a gt4580r? What is the approximate spool difference between the two? Are there any BW turbos in this power range that are more efficient than the above two?

Regards,
Justin
