on a cold startup my car goes right to 1800 rpm and hangs for 5 seconds before coming back down to 1100rpms at idle. after the car settles down to 1100rpms, i back out of the garage put the clutch in and the car hunts for idle. once the car smooths out i take off and hit my first stop sign about 100 ft away from my driveway and the car stalls 90 percent of the time. so i start it and take off and drive to the local donut dump about 2miles away. i pull in there parking lot put the clutch in and the car hunts for idle or stalls. thats just one senerio. theres many others. my question is, is this a tuning issue? or something else, like a vacuum leak, etc? warm start ups are just as bad but the idle doesnt hang at 1800 rpms when i start the car. thanks pat
