Is a K&N recharge kit good to clean my Moroso?

That will work fine. It looks like a k&n filter to me. Probably the same thing with moroso stamped on the top.

Stupid question but did you notice any difference when you installed the air-foil?

Nope, none. But I guess it is worth the $35 cause it can't hurt. My 1/4mile times keep going lower, so I guess it is contributing.
