heads cam headers setup help

heads cam headers setup help ok so im getting ready to put heads and cam on my motor and my buddy says i should change the timing chain to a new one but i really dont have the money, my car has 80kmi on it so im sure he's right but i was just woundering what everyone is doing. because i went from a heads and cam setup to everything but the block.

Your chain should be fine...I know peolpe making 550 rw on the bottle and using stock chain. Just make it a point in the future
