*Definitly* illegal, but then again a lot of people on this site have illegal appearance mods. I have clear corners, which I am pretty sure have to be orange here in cali. I have blacked out taillights, which is also illegal here. I have tinted front windows, and I have no license plate in the front. I have been driving my car for about 3 1/2 years and have not been pulled over for any of those reasons.......and when i have been pulled over in the past (only for speeding) the cops never said anything about any of those listed above.....and as far as the "rice" comment goes....i don't see how is is ricey, because I consider tacky mods to be rice, but that actually looks very nicely done.......

CamaroGuy87, you better go to a lumber yard and knock on every piece of wood there is after that...lol.
Is it illegal? Yes. But just be smart about it. Hopefully, you can turn them on and off easily and you wont get in too much trouble.

where are you finding ones... do they fit without much customization?
i would love to replace my craptastic ones becuz it seems every other rainfall i'm replacing a damned turn signal/running light

They were a pain in the A$$!!! lol But I have them hooked up so when I start my car just the driving "running" lights are on. The halos "red or blue" come on when I turn it to parking lights. They also stay on when I put the head lights on. When I push the switch for the fog lights to come on, the actual fog light comes on. They will stay on with the head lights unless I push the switch back. So I can control each individually. I have had them on my car for over a year and have not had any problems.
