Default rear O2 sensor question

I have a 96 LT1 TA and I just installed a Pacesetter o/r y-pipe and longtube headers without cats and need to know if its better to tune out the rear O2 sensors or just get the O2 simulators? If tuning out is the way to go do I just the the connector on the wiring harnes bare or is there a plug to close it off with... also then can i do erase them with my hypertech programer and how do I do that if thats the way to go...

Any 96+ car has rear o2 sensors, it is part of OBDII.

i just put a 02 sim on my 96 SS LT1 there is only one plug on the cat and www.speedinc.com has a plug and play simulator that cleared the code. Its $50 for one i have an extra I'll sell for $25. UPS lost my order. i called and speedinc sent a replacement then apparently UPS found the original and delivered it so i got a 2 for 1 deal.
