Default Desired Shift Time

According to the LS1edit manual

Desired Shift Time
This Table sets the desire time to shift. If you set it to zero, it will accelerate transmission wear. You can reduce these values to quicken the shifts.

For a C5 A4 what might be a good setting without being too hard on the tranny?

Thanks for the replies. Well I reduced the table by 10 percent and it is much quicker.

wish someone would respond?!?! i've got a Predator and wanted to know if i should adjust the shift time and line pressure, or if i should just change the shift time and leave line pressure alone. i definitely need this tranny to last a few more years (at least)...

I have the Predator for my 2002 SS I turned the shift decision time down by 25% and the line pressure up by 5% it shifts fine but I plan on changing the fluid to Royal Purple Synthetic at 15,000 miles and servicing the tranny regularly.

I reduced my line pressure and shift time, very pleased with the crisp results.
