Yes it's a good combination because both items were made by the same manufacturer so you know all the testing and R&D is right on... and I'm sure it would give you more horsepower over the stock intake and tb...

The BBK will definitely show gains, from everything I've been reading recently.

HEATSOAK bullshit???? well put your had on a BBK after running it and then on a stock intak or a fast intak and tell me which you can touch... the BBK is horrible i have installed and then taken off more than one of there on CUS. cars, they always think they are great and i tell them not to buy them... the BBK is ok in the winter ....but in the heat of the summer all it does in heat up the intake charge...and as for the TYPHOON well you better search around on that one because there has been proven dyno LOSES with that intake.. the fast is the best IMHO. most gain in hp and easiest to tune for... i actually am taking a bbk off a car that i installed one on a few months ago and he is going to the LS6 intake. he hates the BBK and i told him he would. we are also in texas so its a little worse having an ALUM intake here than lets say Maine.

I dont know about any hp/tq gains

I wanted to test my friends BBK over my unported stock LS1 throttle body at the track with a LS6 intake.

I made a couple of passes with my stock setup. Then put the bbk on, let the car cool down and reset the computer and I ran pretty much the same time.

I was going some 12.5s with both TB's. My car hooks great I got 1.70 60 fts out of all the runs and same mph. So I dont know if you will make more power or not but I tried it for myself and saw no gains over the stock tb.
