Declawed? Why would you de-claw a dog? Especially such a big dog?

Its the fifth claw. Its the one thats higher up on the leg.

oh, ok, I thought you meant all of them. I have a Dane, and I've never heard of them getting declawed. he's almost 3, never noticed if his back claws were missing or not.

That claw that yall are talking about is the dew claw, and in most cases it's removed from hunting dogs...if that helps.

I had my APBT's declawed on the front. They were digging out from under the fence. Was $100 each but it fixed that problem.
