Default XS header solution to touching floorboard with pictures

I took it out and cut off ~2" of it. I took a 3" internal diameter connector and cut a V in it, pinched it together and welded it back (probably 20-25 degree bend). Then I took a 40 degree mandrel bend, cut it in the middle of the bend, rotated it 160 degrees and welded it back together. These combined take it away from the floorboard and over the little hump that our cars have.

I can take pictures if anyone needs them.

Other than that, I love the headers.

There have been a bunch of threads on the XS headers and the driver's side being close or touching the floorboard. Here are pictures of my solution.

~2" cut off takes it away from the floorboard, but leaves enough to get the slip fit over it.

I'll post a couple more once it's on the car.

so are you saying, you can cut 2'' off the collector and still get the ypipe to fit on and clamp down? would save me some hassle if this is so.

Probably not with the Y pipe. I made a custom X pipe.
