this is plug 1 & 3 replaced map and maf still no luck it is pinnging/ really bad knock right at 3,500 at wot and still throwing code p0108 im lost it was running hella strong right b4 the spark plug change i dunno know what else to look for

well i have gapped mine at .035 with no problems.that was with about 11.3 to 1.I will reccomend .040 you got to remember that we have thee shittiest gas here too.btw the plug looks lean.

damminit i use shell 91 all the time... i actually thought it is running rich i used 1/4 tank already and i have only driven it 35mi without going over 2,5k and when i did floor it both times smoke barrled out i dont know what color cuz it was at night i saw it in the rear view

ya pucks right .035 i just thought about it i was running comp 306 on that motor.that cam bleeds off alot more cylinder pressure than stock mabe if you had a hotter ignition system you could go with a bigger gap.

wouldnt that show up on the scanner tho i used this http://buy1.snapon.com/products/diag...ewer.asp?id=97
and all it said was map sensor voltage low then it threw one for high replaced it and then the scanner said supect maf to be bad just baught a new maf earler no dice

the map code i get somtimes because of low manifold vacum from the cam.Do you think it is possible there is an intake leak between the maf and the intake manifold causing low vacum and unread air to enter the intake.that will set a maf code also i believe?

nope just checked put my old maf back on checked 1,3,5,7 plugs all look the same i dont get it.. i can cruz it up to 3,5 no problem its just when i hammer it, i just started it and ran my hand across the wires.. drivers side and i got zapped on #5 brand new wires i wouldnt think that would be the whole problem would it

check it out this is also possible that your gap is so big that the spark would rather travel out the wire then jump across the electrode.this will also become more likely at higher rpm too.
